Some of my areas of expertise include anxiety, ADHD, and obsessive compulsive disorder. Additional areas of focus include autism, mood disorders, coping skills, emotional disturbances, eating disorders, life adjustments and transitions, men’s and women’s issues, trauma, relationship distress, school and career related challenges, self-esteem, and stress management.
I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches to support clients with resolving distress, symptom reduction, and developing the skills needed to live the most fulfilling life possible. I have extensive training and certifications in exposure and response prevention therapy (ERP), inference-based cognitive behavioral therapy (I-CBT) for OCD, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (EMDR). Additionally, I may include acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution focused therapy, strength based therapy, motivational interviewing, and person-centered therapy. My approach is eclectic, holistic, neuro-affirming, compassionate, and culturally sensitive.
